Hammertime Mac Os Catalina
For work purposes I have been forced to install Windows 7 Ultimate with Bootcamp. Everything has worked smoothly till I'm to install the drivers.
Now, Windows 7 looks 'fine' however I want my eject button and other MacBook Pro features to work (and for the 'correct' drivers to be operating my hardware).
All tutorials have discussed putting in my Mac Install CD 1 and running Bootcamp.exe. However, Windows 7 doesn't see the CD so I booted back into Mac OS X to check the CD but I couldn't find any .exe.
Can someone point me in the right direction? I'm a little lost. I haven't used Windows for years so my experience is limited . I downloaded Bootcamp 3.1 (from Apple) but it's telling me to installed Bootcamp 3 which I can't find.

After months waiting for my backup drive to arrive at our new home, I've tried to connect my My Book Live to my MBP to resume backups with Time Machine. Before we moved they worked pretty seamlessly. Now it can't even find the MBL, even when I use the IP address in the browser. Christmas mahjong mac os.
I've plugged the MBL into our new wifi router, expecting that it would then happily shake hands with the Mac and begin backing up, but I get this message:
'Time Machine couldn't complete the backup to 'MyBookLive'.
The backup disk could not be found. Make sure the backup disk is connected or select a different backup disk.
Latest successful backup: 20 November 2017'
Same thing if I do a direct ethernet connection to the MBP.

Any suggestions as to what I'm doing wrong. So far, I've tried a new ethernet cable to connect to the router and turning all on and off again and rebooting. I ran LAN SCAN to see if the MBL appears and it doesn't. I went into the Sharing Menu in System Prefs and tried enabling AFP.
Currently the LED on the front of the MBL is solid blue.
I'm running the latest OS (10.13.3).
